Eligibility for Adult Amateur Year-End Awards
BVD defers to RMDS rules regarding eligibility for AA Awards.
Eligibility for RMDS Adult Amateur Year-End Awards requires a current year USEF Membership card indicating your Adult Amateur status and it must be on file with RMDS.
You must provide a copy of the AA card to the RMDS Central Office. It is also your responsibility to confirm that your RMDS card is up-to-date with your amateur status.
Please note that each time you renew your USEF membership, you will need to send your new card showing your Amateur status to the RMDS Central Office. This applies to auto renewal with USEF as well.
Click the button below to join USEF and choose Competing Member. A few pages in you can opt in to Adult Amateur status, and get your card.
Note: Any scores you earn previous to having your AA card will not count towards year-end AA awards.
Computation
Eligible scores are recorded at each level.
The top 80% of all recorded scores are used in calculating the median score.
The median is the middle score when all scores are ranked from highest to lowest. For an even number of scores, the two middle scores are added together and divided by two.
