BVD connects members through the BVD website, emails, and social media to provide the latest news on clinicians, education programs, competitions, and services in our local and surrounding areas.

How to Join or Renew:

  • You join BVD by joining RMDS (Rocky Mountain Dressage Society) and choosing Boulder Valley Dressage as your Chapter
  • Click the button, which takes you to the RMDS membership website page.
  • Choose Individual or Business or Education membership type (explanation below)
  • Fill in name, address, etc
  • Click “Add Registration”
  • Choose Boulder Valley Dressage as your member organization

BVD/RMDS Education, Non-Competing membership:

  • Costs a bit less than individual membership
  • Gives you access to the inside track on local dressage happenings and GMO-sponsored USDF educational clinics and programs

To be Eligible for Competitions

BVD/RMDS Individual or Business Membership Benefits:

Best if you plan on competing at USDF Recognized or RMDS Approved shows*.

You get:

  • Participation in RMDS sponsored clinics and shows without paying an additional non-member fee.

  • Enrollment as a USDF Group Membership (USDF GM) which provides the following:

      • Eligibility for USDF Rider Awards

      • Subscription to the USDF Connection magazine

      • Eligibility to earn university credits, and receive USDF GM discount rates for USDF events

      • Access to the inside track on local dressage happenings and GMO-sponsored USDF educational clinics and programs

      • NOTE:  USDF Participating membership (USDF PM) is needed if you plan to participate in USDF Qualifying Shows*

  • BVD and RMDS newsletters and access to BVD and RMDS sponsored clinics and programs

  • Eligibility for BVD and RMDS End of Year Awards program

 

 

*You must apply to USDF for a participating membership if you plan to compete in USDF Qualifying Shows or compete in qualifying classes for USDF Regional Championships and the Great American Insurance Group Finals (Nationals), and to have your scores count toward USDF End of Year Awards. Additionally, you will need to obtain a lifetime registration for your horse with RMDS if you want to qualify for RMDS year-end awards or compete at the RMDS championships. Do this when you join/renew at RMDS.

If you are an Adult Amateur (AA) and plan to show in AA classes, you will need to obtain amateur designation from USEF. Click here to join USEF and obtain that designation.
