Topics including: Why compete? Under- standing the Tests! What to wear? Showing Tips! Demo Riders! What memberships are needed? How to enter? Special Rules! How to fill out an entry form? Schooling & show ring etiquette. And much much more! You will be given handouts for later & access to mentors.

Rider Entry Fee: $50.00 Riders will be coached by Sue with an eye towards improving their seat. (30-minute session) Auditors: $45.00 for the day. Riders and Auditors, please contact Sally at slodwyer@gmail.com to RSVP and for payment information.

  • Handouts regarding this Clinic will be provided. Be prepared to take lots of notes!

  • 100% guarantee you will obtain a better understanding of the importance of the seat.

  • Snacks and Drinks Provided. Bring a bag lunch.

  • We will be in an indoor arena, but dress warmly.

  • Auditors, please park in the Cottonwood Trail Parking lot, across the street and down the road about a block.

  • Please arrive on time so you don’t miss Sue’s talk!

  • Thanks to Boulder Valley Dressage for subsidizing the cost of this training opportunity to reduce barriers to participation.

This Clinic is designed for all Youth, Amateurs and Professionals. Sue will begin with a talk for both auditors and riders about the importance of the seat as an aid and how to use the seat effectively. Sue will then coach/train individual riders with an eye towards helping each individual rider improve their seat. While working with each rider, Sue will direct her comments to both the audience and rider so that everyone has an opportunity to learn. We recognize that we are all students of dressage, riding at all levels, so please expect to ride in a supportive, caring environment!

Come ride and get some feedback on the test you plan to show this season. It is a great way to fine tune your skills and practice. Each test will be a test of your choice, coaching and then riding it again, approximately 30 minutes.
